Briefing
by George Welsh
Editor-in-Chief

Can you believe that this edition marks our ninth issue and the beginning of our third year as Bomber Legends magazine? More than half of you are involved with submitting stories and photos. Thanks to that involvement, you are part of preserving the history of the bomber aircraft and educating future generations. Other subscribers are learning from your stories, tracking down the history of their relatives, or trying to understand more about past missions.

In this issue, we have focused on the B-29 Superfortress, while still including stories on a variety of other bomber aircraft. We are also featuring an informative story on bomber formations written by Kelsey McMillan. You will recognize Kelsey’s name as having submitted numerous articles to Bomber Legends over the past two years.

As part of our mission in educating younger generations we are beginning to include stories, like Kelsey’s, that will explain the technical aspect of the air war. Plus, we will continue to feature storiesfrom those who lived it.

We hope that you continue to enjoy this and future issues of Bomber Legends magazine.
